Like most of you, I rolled my eyes when I saw Kamui chalk going for $25 a pop.
When would a piece of chalk ever be worth that much $$?
Well, I played in the US Open One Pocket that finished up yesterday. I had heard good things about Kamui tips so I had Joe Blackburn put one on before the tournament.
I was still on the winners side after the first day, but I am an older player and get the yips sometimes and miscue. My upcoming match had a $400 difference between winning and losing. I went to the McDermott booth and bought a piece of Kamui chalk.
While I still got the yips a few times, I never miscued.
I think if you like the Kamui tips, you will love the chalk.
I went on to win two very tough matches and had a nice payday. The $70 investment for the tip and chalk was a bargain for me. John
