It’s been a while since I was on the LA River trail. My long ride was Van Nuys, bike lane to Burbank, river to Downtown, Venice blvd to the beach, PCH to the pass, up and over to the valley and back to VNY.
The lights have flickered a few times....so if I lose power, you guys can have a great big unmoderated free-for-all!!

We're done with the ice, changed over to snow and I still have power and internet....damn!!Well, the snow is falling now here in the Buckeye state. We'll see how bad it gets. Plenty of supplies, and internet access, so you criminals aren't getting off the hook...yet.

We are going to only get a couple of inches here in Chicago. You guys stay safe that snow over ice combo is no fun.
One time I was working in Dallas outdoors from Thanksgiving to Christmas. The entire time I was there the temp never went above freezing and we were hit with several ice storms during that month. We were playing hockey in the parking lot.
Best thing about that trip was the warm pickup ride back to Colorado.

Update on St. Louis... We are Slammed. There's got to be a foot of snow on top of an inch of ice in the cities just west of St. Louis, ours being one. Everything is buried!! This reminds me of 72, 73. Anybody remember that one?? Snow chains and all.
