Keene, NH

I'll be out in Keene, NH area this weekend, anything out there for pool halls?

Do you have transportation? How long of a ride is OK for you? The places I know that are worth it are all a bit over an hour from you.

My home room in Ayer MA The Billiards Cafe, Boston Billiards in Nashua, NH, Ivory Billiards in Holyoke MA, all just over 1 hr drive. I don't know of any other real pool halls in that area closer, there may be bars and such with tables.

In Leominster MA there is a place with good food and nice 8 food diamond coin ops, Beemers. But they are coin ops. If you decide to head to one of those let me know, I may be free to drive to one of them, send me a PM for contact info.

Maine St. Billiards in Swanzy, NH.

McCues in downtown Keene (Emerald St) changed hands last year when the owner retired. They changed names, and I don’t know if they continued as a pool hall. You can tell me :)

Looks like McCues closed in 2015, to be replaced in 2016 by a Toadstool Bookshop, which also has The Farm Cafe inside.

Main St Billiards is now on Rt 12, south of Keene a couple of miles, opposite a Kia dealer (located waaaaay off on Google maps and on Yelp), signed well, but around the back of a set of buildings.

last i was there they had 20 Olhausen 9' tables. $4/hr, and $6 for the whole night on T/Th/Sun. open 5:30p, don't be put off if they don't answer the phone, and the owner sometimes shows up late for opening.

i haven't been there in a couple of years, though, so i'd call: (603) 357-3806
