Keith, I was wondering if you have ever done this or seen it done- The cueball is frozen on the second diamond on the long rail, and the object ball is frozen on the fifth diamond on the same long rail past the side pocket. The object is to make the ball in the corner, and draw the cueball straight back into the corner you are standing by. Is this shot possible to do? Is there a trick to it, or do you just have to shoot unbelievably straight? Thanks for your time.

Last Two, this is sometimes used as a proposition shot. I've seen Mike Massey make it, but it is a very low-percentage shot.

If I was confronted with it and both balls were frozen, I'd probably try to bank it cross-corner, playing the ball short in hopes of a safety if I miss.

If the felt was in brand-new condition, you may be able to attempt it, but I still wouldn't try it. The only way to make it is with a perfectly executed draw stroke. Even though I like offensive shots, I don't go for this one.

Good to know, thanks Keith!

the two balls frozen to the rails.

Hi, have you read 99 critical shot? from Ray "Cool Cat" Martin and Rosser Reeves?
You have to shoot this with left english drow shot (7:30 clock) if you are on the left rail or viceversa if are on the right rail.
Is like a little massè shot but little.
You can try and see that works truly.
