Slight correction to the story...
An Asian customer had Keith Josey make the cue, which was a copy to Shawn's cue that really was never supposed to have been made. Scott Murphey acquired the cue from the Asian customer in 2002 at the BCA trade show. However, the cue was stolen out of Scott's booth at the Derby City Classic last year (Jan. 2004) by some chicken shit loser (probably dope fiend) thief.
However it is knows who they are !!! And I'm sure we would love to know.
Hopefully it will turn up somewhere and Scott will be able to reclaim his merchandise. It's a pretty unusual cue, and if it's still in the states my guess is that it will eventually show it's face.

That sucks............cue thieves are among the lowest of the low in my book.
However, I don't see the appeal of that cue. Not my cup of tea. It's, dare I say it, ugly.
Sorry to hear about the loss of it though.........I sincerely hope he is caught red handed trying to sell it.

It is even more stunning in person. 
i know how it is to lose a cue......i have had many raped from me in the past....it really sucks that someone would do that.........
