A certain top player has called the barbox table a "little joke,toy,piece of shit,ego helping ,non skill required thing we call a bar table.", and I kind of wanted your opinion as a player reknowned as maybe the best bar table player ever.
This player said while it takes "some measure" of skill to play on a barbox, that a 9 footer requires much more.
Having played in barbox tournaments with very good players before, i have to respectfully disagree. I think once you up the race count a few games, that barbox play takes every bit of skill that 9 foot play does. Both in 8 ball and 9 ball.
There are more clusters, and sometimes it is tough to get out on a barbox if the balls don't lay just right after the break.
Please give us your opinion on barbox pool.
