Greetings,

I just took delivery of a new cue from Kent Davis (via Martin Bick @ Superior Cues).

John Davis blank: Ebony into BEM w/Titlist veneer colors. Near-seamless elephant ear wrap.

Ivory dots, diamonds, and wing-dings (inlaid w/päua shell). My eyes aren't good enough to discern the composition of the ferrules (I've asked Kent to tell me). [edit] Ferrules are LBM.

Fancy silver rings w/repeated veneer colors. Custom JPs.

Cool sig.

Specs:

Butt => 15.45oz
S1 => 3.83oz, 13.05mm
S2 => 3.74oz, 13.10mm
19" balance point
Butt diameter at bottommost ring => 1-9/32" (a little small for my taste, but offset, for 'grippiness', by the elephant ear wrap)
Tiger Emerald tips (I think) [edit] tips are Talisman WB mediums

I'll review it after I've played with it for a few weeks. So far it is lovely.

Cheers.

Gorgeous cue :thumbup::eek::thumbup::eek:

It is. I mean, it really is. The rings and inlays are so understated and refined, it makes for a really elegant aesthetic. And, from my initial testing (no chalk) I expect it to play really well.
