Kentucky Rack Man US Open Summary

Matchroom is attempting to raise the bar on Nine Ball Pool. I have attended the Derby City Classic for over 20 years and the image here is above and beyond my expectations. Emily runs around with the big ole smile and welcomes all who wish to stop and chat. The matches were running a bit behind the first couple Days but nothing like I have experienced other tournaments. I have a Diamond with 4 inch pockets at home so the oh my these pockets scare me was no issue. The wet conditions were a topic but a player needs to learn to adapt to different table and conditions to compete. Getting the email from the wait list caught me a bit off guard but said YES without hesitation. In the middle of downsizing and relocation of residence had me not hitting balls as I do in prep for Derby. So, I drew Mika first match, Won the lag and first game, then went on to get thumped 9-2. Won my 2nd match 8-4. Lost my 3rd match I think 8-4. I had opportunity’s and lacked the ability to execute. In summary, this ole man got the opportunity to finally go to the US Open and win a match too. Made memories and enjoyed myself. Oh yea, Got to walk up to SJM and say Hello, I am the Kentucky Rack Man. It was AWESOME
