Kersenbrock: DPK Elegant Solution

Just rec'd this from Ed Young... following is some of the details as per his email: PurpleHart, black leather wrap, wood trim rings at the joint, "A", "B", butt, Kersenbrock "Roller -K" logo in the butt cap. It was made about 15 years ago. A DPK "Elegant Solution" is a simple cue without any points. A cue with exceptional wood that plays well. Most only had joint rings and occasionally a matching butt ring. This cue has rings at the 'A' and 'B' also. Dave called the Purplehart cue a COD or Catch Of the Day. The term refers to the wood in the cue. The material in the cue was the best or most unique wood out of a batch. The Purplehart is actually figured, not real common. Figured Purplehart is usually quite a bit denser and crisper hitting. Figured Purplehart plays great. DPK did the joint protectors, he refers to them as "champaign corks".
