I would like to thank DeadAim for the tutorial he put together. I am using it and it is helping to improve my game.
I have it saved in word and moved the diagrams around so they are near the instructions.

Scanned this extremely quickly and thought it good enough to save and read in detail later. I always pick up something when reading this stuff then test it out.

I did pick up on the slide issue. I'm not familiar with the different types of pool cloth since I don't play the game but the diamond system works best when there's new cloth and new balls. I might say it only works on new cloth and new balls. The numbers change dramatically with dirt, powder, scuff marks ..... Slide is essential for the system to work as the diagrams are drawn. Also there are adjustments to the 5 system as you get past the side pocket. You will need to shoot the ball longer to reach the corner on a 3 rail kick. Maybe this was discussed. I've never seen a discussion on the diamonds that teaches the adjustments. I've only learned them from professional 3 cushion players face to face usually for a fee.
