Whitey's in Charleston WV, last Sat. every month @ 3:00pm
$50 Entry & calcutta
Larry Price, Travis Stamper & Scooter (was in action last night) are regulars

Larry was out of town, John Morra shows up with Scooter and wins.

I heard that Whitey passed. How is everything going at the poolhall. Also I thought John was trying to be a professional. Running with scooter wont get you there.:eek:
 
His wife had it closed for a while of course.

Back open for food and pool since Feb or so., no cards or book though, she's leery of that since Whitey handled all the "action".

They still have the monthly King of the Hill, about the same level of action for now. Although Whitey would usually give road agents a crack at some gas money if nothing else was shaking (he could play a little too), so that may dry up a little now.

Price is back around and Travis Stamper is back in town (was in TX for a year or two) so there are definitely some legitimate players to be found.
