Knockoff It's George Case???????

How are you all doing? I don't have pictures of it, but it is a 2x4 claimed it's george case.It doesn't say it's george on the bottom of the case and the carrying strap is not leather and it is a nylon strap that says it's george on it....... I think I got scammed......sigh....:( Does anyone know anything or can help me know whether or not it is an actual it's george case?

P.S. The guy left a piece of almost brand new tan preflag master chalk in there and a freaken smooth stroke poweder pouch thingy in there....

Hey Chino,

I think it's a George case, but it's their vinyl model, which was considerably cheaper than their leather models. On the bottom of the vinyl models, it said "It's George-V" (indicating vinyl). It looks like someone has removed the logo, which was probably meant to keep someone from knowing it wasn't leather.

its george

looks real to me also. i paid 85 for mine in 1991. they go between 125 and 200 depending on the condition. a few of my friends beat theirs up and the straps came off. looks the same happened to yours.
