Koa

i was just saying it looks that way.it doen't look like Koa from the photo.

Most of the Koa that is seen has been finished with some kind of surface treatment. The raw, unfinished wood looks quite different than the finished product. Not all Koa is heavily figured. It usually has an irridescent color changing quality that I haven't seen in other woods. I really enjoy working with it. It often gives you a suprise when finished. You are never sure of the finished look until done. Usually suprises are very good.
