KONLLEN blue nano chalk

Anyone tried this and compared it to similarly priced G2, or the more expensive Taom and Pagulayan blue? I do like the blue colors the best and being square is another big plus. Has anyone noticed these chalks helping soft or medium layered tips from hardening up as quickly as they do most of the time? At 2 for $27 it is a little nicer on the wallet...

BD is not near as dusty as Master.
 
If you want square and it's within your budget, you really can't beat pagulayan. The green is V10, the blue is Pyro. They are a little more expensive than some chalks but I'm guessing as long as you don't lose it a cube of it will last a year or more.

I have used the same piece of Toam v10 for the last 6 months and have no doubt it will last me another 6 months.

blue diamond is terrible for putting chalk on the cue ball and the table… only chalk that might be worse is kamui IMHO.

there is no such thing as low deflection chalk. I just want good grip and for it not to get on the cue ball.

thanks. I never said I was looking at the blue nano because it is advertised as low deflection. I am trying to find a "bargain in the rough" between the last batch of "fresh" master and the more expensive Taom and similar. Was wondering if the Konllen was "close / similar" to the more expensive stuff and if so, how close with maybe the pros and cons listed?

Even though it is hard to watch for multiple reasons (won't go into details and will be nice), he likes the Konllen the best out of the remaining 3 in the test group including Masters, Predator and Predator Pure, especially around coating harder break and jump tips plus a lot less mess than the Masters. Might have to give it a try...

Believe me V10/pagaulayan green is the best value chalk, as long as you don't lose it. 1 cube lasts a year. It's only 6 cents a day if you use it daily, you literally could and one cube would last a year. If you're prone to losing things I'd try magic chalk. It's good chalk, not as messy as masters but still what I would consider a messy chalk. I have no knowledge of konllen but if they are making claims like it's LD, then it seems like they seem more like shady salesmen tactics than truthful folks. A false claim like that stands my BS meter's hair on end. If they make claims like that I doubt everything else without ever trying their chalk.

It sticks to any type of tip, from the softest marshmallow up to a phenolic break cue.

There was concerns on here a year ago or so about the safety of the nano particles health wise of this chalk on here. There was claims that Toam had them as well but Toam says it doesn't.

Taom Chalk

Sucker born every minuet but not concerning this new chalk. Gotta say after more that 50years of using Masters chalk I am amazed with the new Taom V10 product enough that I ain't looking back. I received the stuff a few days ago and before play, I cleaned the table a couple of times. Vacuumed ...

Russian Magic Chalk (about $11 for two cubes) is very good, and is an "in between" chalk cost wise.

full disclosure, I use blue Taom as a base then use blue Magic Chalk as my playing chalk.

Side Note:

I like the newer chalks but the cost is just stupid IMO.

A case (144 pieces) of Master Chalk is around $45. A case worth of $20 a piece chalk at retail is $2,800

Anyone think it cost $2,800 for any chalk maker to make a case worth chalk?

you must chalk like a gorilla. never had issues like this with BD chalk.

😂 not sure what a gorilla would chalk like… I just know that the BD I had used in the past had a stickier consistency. more like make up.

Maybe just my experience, but taom feels drier while still giving good coverage.

It's $20 because idiots like me pay for it. I can go about 15 shots without rechalking, Masters I'd get three.

I'd like to do a side by side and see how many shots for the entire piece of chalk you get with Taom Versus Master. Taom is probably cheaper.
