KT and NPR

I heard Kevin Trudeau mentioned on National Public Radio (NPR) yesterday, if not actually by name. It was on the Diane Rehm Show, in an interview with Brooks Jackson, co-author of Unspun: Finding Facts in aWorld of Disinformation. Some two-thirds of the way through the hour, the guest, after talking about how bias, spin and distortion of fact can twist public opinion, also warned about becoming too cynical and maybe losing objectivity. He then went on to give the example of how one guy with a criminal background takes advantage of people's general wariness of government to pitch his goods fraudulently on infomercials by working the theme of "everything the government doesn't want you to know" and such. Nothing on pool, but I found it interesting that KT's legacy now makes it into a public discourse on "disinformation." I believe you can listen to replays on npr.org. All in all it's a pretty good interview, but you can probably fast forward to the KT part. try this: http://www.wamu.org/programs/dr/07/04/30.php#13169
