Kuwait Open

I have been watching some matches from the Kuwait Open and enjoyed the match between Jason Shaw and Ko Pin. A couple of great players with good sportsmanship and a good match.

Then I started watching the match between Delchaine and VanBoening. What a difference in the tone of the match. Delchaine appears rack obsessed and maybe he is convinced Shane is doing something tricky with a rack template.

I would eventually have told him to go away and get the ref to inspect the rack if he has an issue with it. Any way their match is not near as fun to watch for me because of the rack inspection obsession.

I recently watched this match and almost shut it off myself. The referee should rack and you should only be allowed to inspect it. Shane and Mike rack grind each others brains out. Then a month later we expect them to act like they cant wait to play together at the Mosconi cup. The Mosconi matches they did manage to win......one player high fives the other fist bumps. They cant even get that right......

Both you guys are right. I couldn't watch it. There are enough good players to watch so I don't have to torture myself to watch that kinda stuff.

I still say BRING BACK THE SARDO! Rack with the Sardo, if anyone touches the rack after the balls go into the thing it's loss of game period. If a problem is suspected, call the ref over tominspect, if nothing is found the person that challenged it gives up break and ball in hand to the other player. I think this set up would cut out all the rack BS quick fast and in a hurry ! !!

I like it, anything to stop this BS! I just cant take it, no other players go through this. If or players would stop believing that someone has racked his way to a win, maybe they could focus on playing to win.
