Call Steve Klapp at 309.361.7162 and tell him Patrick sent you. Describe what you need and he will take care of you.

Im buying the shaft for a Klapp cue. The original shaft has areal nice warp. I received the cue that way and because of Christmas I was to busy to get in touch with the original seller . I think it would be a big arguement if I were to try to pursue a refund. I like the cue to much any way. I also talked to Steve and he didnt act like he wanted to do anything naturally

Hi,

It is against forum rules to bump your thread more then once every 48 hours.

I'm shocked to think Steve wouldn't do anything. Were you trying to get him to just fix it or what? His shafts are rather amazing. I also will recommend getting one of his. Amazing!

I love my Klapp OG shaft and highly recommend them. As far as I am concerned your issue with the warp is with the seller and has nothing to do with Steve. I don't understand why you think he should bear any responsibility for a cue you purchased from someone else.

You might try asking Steve to make you another shaft nicely, and you might be surprised what kind of discount you get, rather than acting like he did you wrong by not fixing a cue you bought at a discount from somebody else.

I don't know what you mean by cheap? I have a Bill Webb dense old growth maple shaft. 13mm/3.8 oz. 3/8" black collar with a very thin silver ring.

Shaft is ding free and unstained. Lightly used, straight and at least 4 years old so it's not likely to move on you.

This shaft is as good as they get and for this quality it's cheap for $100 shipped.

Here is a link to a picture of the Webb shaft. You might also be interested in th Coker shaft.

Thanks Bob. NOTHING AGAINST STEVE. Love my cue. I Havn't pursued any one. Wood does weird things during climate changes. But thank you for making a big deal out of it. I Didnt ask Steve do anything about it. Mentioned it through an email and he quoted a price to me. No discount was mentioned and that was it. Sorry if my statements were taken another way. love cue also

Well in your statement where you mentioned talking to steve, you said he acted like he didn't want to do anything naturally. Did come off sounding like you expected him to do something special for you. No worries. I still would go with his shaft though. Pretty solid price for how amazing it is.

Are you looking for a 3/8x10 standard pin.
Similar to Gilbert, McDermott, etc. ?
I have a Varney with a plain block collar.
30" full shaft
$120 shipped
