Lack of inspiration

I'll tell you a story.

There is a guy in Europe who lost his inspiration to play; he played but something was always missing and that may cause some stupid mistakes here and there.

What he did? He put away his poolcue for two weeks and played snooker (a game he never played before) with good players. While learning the game a bit he found a lot of fun and joy and huge amount of consentration during his walks around that huge table.

Then yesterday evening he took his poolcue (after some racks of snooker) and played a bit. Damn, that was fun almost like never before.

So to you all who are suffering somekind of a frustration: do something else and find that fun and joy again.

Ok, time for an update.

That same guy went last night to play in local monday evening tournament and made his best play ever in there and basically without any pool practice in almost three weeks. Only those couple of racks of 9 ball some days ago.

(you know what; i'll be playing snooker again tomorrow in a small tournament just for fun)
