Well i've got one mounted and its really hard. Gotta be in the high 80's or low 90's. Got about 5 hours on it. Absolutely no mushroom. Even after breaking with it. Takes chalk well. Great english and draw as long as you stroke smoothly. This could be very nice.
Now don't get me wrong. I'm not specifically saying lactose free milk is better or even different that reg milk to soak in. What I will say is that I've soaked elkies before in reg milk and they were not as hard as these are. And the lactose free milk has a rich creamy taste and goes very well with cookies.
