Lafayette, LA Tournament ($31k)

how much of the 31k was calcutta money?

117 players at $40 per player is $4680. Plus, the bar threw in an additional $1000, I think. Therefore, the tournament money was $5680 and calcutta was approx. $26320.00.

Was there the fairly normal 10-15% rake from that Calcutta? If so, someone made some nice money.

PS-I know nothing about Louisiana Calcuttas.

They do not take anything out of the calcutta! They are good folks in Lafayette! Great tournament to wish I would of went there instead of going broke at the WSOP.

As far as I know they do not skim nothing from the calcutta...........dont need too when they made like 5k jsut from the quarters on the tables :P:P......Plus Chris Miller played in the tourney and placed. and had good action afterwards................... They are really great people and run a very enjoyable place!!

Plus, I saw lots of people eating food there. The $12.00 steaks were great.

They even had homemade cake on the bar for $2.00 a slice.

Yeah they really put on a good time down there.I'll never miss one of those tourneys unless it just cant be helped.Hell even if I can't participate I can go down and have a good time with the AZ'ers!!
