Lambros Cues

Has anyone played with the new Lambros Ultra joint? Does it hit stiff or soft? What is the standard taper on his shafts? What should a Lambros sneaky pete (plain cue, no points) cost? Thank you for your help.

Please post pictures of Lambros cues and testimonials. Thanks again.

I just saw a plain jane with 2 shafts sell for 1000 at billiardwarehouse.com, I believe they sold another one for 1150. Depends on the wood used.

Lambros Sneaky

He no longer makes sneakey Pete cues. i have one and have been offered 600 to 800 a few times.

I have the older ultra joint also in a 6 point cue, it hits stiff and i love it.

Like this one?

I paid $900 back in 2002 with Ultra joint and two shafts, one flat laminated, hits like a freight train. If you order ont through Greg at Billiards Wharehouse, you'll get it much sooner then going directly through Mike Lambros, I would think you could get the cue for right around 1K with non laminated shafts and the new ultra joint. I have no idea how he could improve uppon the old ultra joint!

It's kinda plain jane  it's all subjective.

It does play "jams-up" as they say :D

You are right, it's definitely plain jane.

Let me take that plain jane cue off your hands. Shall we say a generous $1100? :D

With all due respect (and IMHO...), you do not buy a Lambros to look cute. Although some of his cues look really nice (speaking to you Jazz...) the main purpouse of owning a Lambros is because of the "hit" and playablility...period. There is nothing else that feels like it on the planet! (again, IMHO...) I still remember what the old ultra joint felt like when I hit it (man you have no idea... ), and that was in VF '00!!!:p
