Black Boar is a good investment, LAMBROS Cue Play well.

I had a 3K price point fairly fancy one a few years ago. I played with it rarely although I must admit it was the top of playing cues I've ever owned including TAD, SW, Richard Harris, Scruggs, and even a bit better than my Murray Tucker Titlist conversion (just a bit) and to me played as well as a friends Searing.
It, the Tucker and Tad are the only ones I truly regret selling.
As for investment purposes, the only guaranteed investment cues are the ones by
men no longer walking among us.
