While I am waiting for some more BRW to come in I thought I would offer some
Laos RW squares. I have had these for about 10 years and they are dry and
seasoned. Laos RW is getting kind of hard to find in nice pieces because it is
now red-lined by CITES. This means that limited trees can be harvested and to
make things worse a lot of lumber is poached and sent to Vietnam for furniture.
It is a tight grained wood and a little heavier than BRW.
Finishes beautifully and is very, very stable.
I think $25 per square w/butt sleeve is a real good deal.
