Lassiter vs Murphy on ESPN Classic

Today on ESPN Classic, there was a 14.1 match between Lassiter and Cisero Murphy at the Commodore Hotel. Lassiter won it 150-111. Anyone know what year this took place? It appears to be in the 60's.
 
Probably 1968 or 1969. Murphy was denied entry into the most prestigious straight pool events until the late 1960's.
 
I watched it this morning. What I found to be the most interesting about the entire match was, what a great event it was. An amazing amount of people, all of the ladies wore dresses, the men wore suites and the crowds were 20 deep with standing room only. What a time it must have been for professional pool. Maybe this is what Kevin Trudeau is trying to bring back to professional pool...

Also following the straight pool match, was a match between Lassiter and Fats.
