Prior to the videotaping, you can try out each shot a few times. Once you have found the the magic aiming point for a shot, leave a chalk or marker there. You can leave the chalks there for the actual run. Our contest is geared towards education and we don't consider this "cheating".

i feel stupid for posting this, as it was my first try, and a hustler aproached me right after my first try. (dont remember if u can see a lady passing by on the video (the hustlers wife), but anyway i kicked his *** 4-10 and he payed for my table and drinks.)

it was on a 8ft table, no idea what cloth in my karaoke barr thats back open for 4 months untill a new owner was found.

You did well. Very good try.

Here is some hints for you (which is in the contest page also):

1, Try to maintain the same power, stroke and English for most shots. This way the results will be more consistant.
2, Check out this diagram:

Suppose you want to hit the 3 ball-
If the CB ended up going towards the 1, this is called "SHORT"
To fix this, you want the ball to go longer. Here are a few ways to do it:

a, move the aiming point towards ball A
b, hit the ball softer
c, use less English
d, use reverse English (warning: this will make it go really long and it can be hard to control)
e, use a LONGGGANI cue (sorry I just cant control myself here They are nice cues )​

If the CB ended up going towards the 5, this is called "LONG"
To fix this, you want the ball to go shorter. Here are a few ways to do it:

a, move the aiming point towards ball B
b, hit the ball harder
c, use more English to change the rebound angle at the 2nd rail
d, use draw (warning: this will make it go really short and it can be hard to control)​

3, After you have mastered the concept, practice each shot a few times, adjust your aim and find the magic spot and leave a chalk there. For the contest run, you will have 5 chalks as your aiming marker.

lol well im leaving tomorow for my xmas holliday for 12 days
dont got time to give it another try. and i hope i dont win cuz ive got a ridicoulous score!!

ps im very bad in multiple rail kicking. ill try to do what uve told about being short or long, i really am going to practise this and uve given SUPERB adive on how to correct being to long or short.

ill add it to the list of things to learn this year, and incorporate it in some kind of shedule.

ps a 1,2,3,etc kicking drill would be cool for next month (basically because im REALLY bad at them, and its something alot of players arent very good in).

maybe one where u have to touch a ball by kickin it with 1rail first, then kick it with 2 rails, then kick it with 3 rails and then bank it+positioning for the next one.
