Last chance to enter the Midwest Expo/Open

The Expo is less than 2 weeks away and the entries are flocking in. You have one more week to send a money order or cashiers check in (no personal checks). We will be accepting registrations at the door, although there will be a $25.00 late fee per each event. So, to avoid the late fee that begins on October 1, get your entry in today. All information can be found at www.pooltournaments.net or by calling 630-244-2900.

In addition, the host resort Pheasant Run Resort is critical, almost sold out. To be located on property, and receive the show special $99.00 rate call the resort TODAY at 630-584-6300 and ask for the billiard rate. Please be aware that IF you elect to stay at a different hotel, the parking for this event will be brutal. Make time to park your vehicle and get to your match to avoid forfeit.

Reserved a room 2 days ago at the Resort! Gotta be close if I want my family there. Eydie- are strollers allowed at the Expo/Open? Would prefer to use a stroller than carry MJ around all day in my arms.

HAHA!! MJ is sound asleep! He is awake around 9-10pm, sleeps till about 5-6am, then knocked back out for 2-3 hours at a time throughout the day. I work from 400am-1200, Mon-Fri. That's why I'm up so early! But, if I was at home, I'm sure I'd be up feeding him, haha!!

You did get a good baby! Mine were all pretty good, slept most of the night, although I have had friends who can tell you endless sleep stories.

The AZ Party, well I thought that we can all meet in the bar. I am going to set something up with them. It is directly off the golf greens and indoor pool. If it is nice out, maybe we can move it to the terrace.

I have been reading (as always) the BD site and the CCBers are talking about getting together. I know that a good deal of us who post here post there too, so I thought that we would extend a welcome to them as well if they are interested. They seem to have some type of pin or chain that id's them in a crowd. I think it's time we do something like that too. Hey Mike any thoughts on this??????

Hi Eydie,
I sent in my registration in last week by mail with a personal check. On the registration form it stated 'check or money order'. It didnt say no personal checks... Am I registered?? Let me know. My name is Erik Lee from Aurora, IL

Give Susie a call, You have her number right? She can tell you when we get it. I am not doing the registrations, all of these events are too much these days for me to handle myself, so we had to hire a few people to help out.

last year was great

I competed in the womens 9 & 8 ball last year, and got to see some really great players. I was hoping there would be more women shooting this year in the 9 ball. Anybody know? :confused:

Thanks.. I just checked with my bank the check was cashed... So all is good. Cant wait for it to start.....
