Last Day

I have nothing invested in this, however if you take a screenshot of the paypal transaction for $10 dated during the time that you were collecting for the raffle with this Jason Sanchez as the payee it would go a long way to making those unhappy feel better.

Just a thought.

here is a question... Did he ever contact you or respond to any of your emails prior to you shipping the cue to him? or did you just ship it out hoping he would recieve it?

What happened with this? I was thinking about buying a ticket but did not.

Enquiring minds want to know.

I purchased a ticket and cant get a straight answer as to who the winner is, other then some guy from NM.
If I would have won I sure as hell would be posting thanks at the very least.

I agree

I agree. I guess everyone enters these types of things at their own peril. I am getting to the position that the forum should not allow these types of advertisements for links to raffles that are not AZ sanctioned- i.e. the DCC etc.

Moderator?

I bought 4 tickets from this jerk- mainly because I have had serious back problems (3 oper.) for 16 yrs and can relate. You better watch out, boy!!

Skins posted about being weary about getting into such things.. even though he is not a moderator.. he is somebody that has a high opinion on the forum here... i for one do not like raffles.. except the Ralf Souquet Joss auction.. Ralf cornered me at Valley Forge 2.. i just couldnt say no..lol..

Jury is still out on this one. With things like this on the forum there is little or no recourse for people who are duped (not saying that they were, but for situations like this where they are actually duped). What is the sanction for this? Banning them and having them come back under an alias?

I agree- in this one we need to see the paypal receipt for the winner where he bought a ticket during the raffle sales time- not just a cut and paste- All of this could of course be modified even if PDFed.

Perhaps we need to see the shipping invoice as well.

I did not see where he listed how many tickets were sold etc.

the worst part is we don't know if it's a scam but with some research we can all find out it's illegal. i've come up with a saying i keep in the front of my thoughts on matters like this. "many times while in pursuit of a "windfall", even for a cause, you'll end up "wind blown". ;) :D

I wished it had been handled better. I still have no idea how the winner was even selected. Hope it wasn't a brother-in-law that "won". :)

Sure.

Even if it is illegal- what is to be done about it?

You can boycott any of his listings on the site, or make a comment when he posts them.

You can sign his guestbook at his internet "store-front" which should deter some of his business.

I wouldn't have been suspicious if he had not been asked for the winner's AZ info prior to the winner contacting him. And once the winner contacted him, he still provided no amplifying information. (I would have put " around quite a few words in this paragraph but it would have been hard to read)
