I totally agree it would suck.
Problem is, it's just a matter of time.
Look at partypoker, they have programs that sit there and monitor your window and keep track of every card played, and tell you card by card what your current odds of winning are, what it suggests you do and keeps track of cards played and the more sophisticated ones even keep track of other players "tendencies". One of the people we just hired where I work had done work for partypoker and he showed us all kinds of things, it's insane what people will do out there.
Being a web based app may limit their ability to completely monitor and control the situation unfortunately.
