The latest edition to my family ;)

This is a Jerry Rauenzahn Titlist conversion. A very classic look with no embellishments to draw your attention away from the lines of the cue.

4 pretty damn even points (nice to get a nice even set ;)) that look Rosewood. Finishing out the classic look is an ivory Hoppe ring and Jerry's -R- on the butt cap.

Stainless steel joint, leather wrap, 2 shafts. Butt weighs 16.0 oz. Original Rauenzahn shaft weighs 4.1 oz, and the second Greg Kucharski shaft weighs 4.5 oz.

The purple veneers show up very nice! Some of the teal veneers have faded a bit, but for the most part, they look exceptional as well.

Nice cue there td...glad you found you one.

I believe I saw that one for sale myself...but decided to pass because I had the Schick already.

Nice find though. JR makes a solid cue.

Yep, it's been said 1000's of time times all over the net [here as well], and although every poster here probably knew that - thanks for pointing it out (again) :)

Keep in mind that the © notice can serve many purposes:
1) it is a cheap and easy deterent - even expensive ones (like hidden digital signatures or digital watermarks can be removed if you have the right technology);
2) it provides notice of a copyright under the law;
3) it lets viewers know the date of the photos - e.g., if I attempt to sell the cue in a year, and point them to the AZ link, a buyer will know to ask for updated pics;
4) it is a placekeeper for my own personal records;
5) it causes people to notice it, and ask the question - "what does that really do?"

Since you have loads of pics on your website, if you haven't asked a qualified IP attorney what the copyright symbol gets you, you might take a minute to find out.

Also, if I was really concerned that someone would steal my pictures, publish them and make tons of cash becauase they were 'smart' enough to erase my ©, I wouldn't post them on AZ for the world to see ;)

That's a great looking Titlist. Seem to remember seeing it somewhere before. :cool: Seriously, it's one of the best Titlist blanks I've seen in a long time....just love that dark rosewood in this cue.

I put it on the lathe, and it seems to spin pretty damn true. I pulled the weight bolt, and cut off 1/2 an ounce - and subbed a shaft that also weighs 1/2 an ounce less [hoping to leave the balance point the same -> .5 oz off the front, and .5 oz off the back].

Then I took some Mother's to it, and man it shines now! Almost no blemishes on this cue!!

Jerry also informed me that he made it in the early 90's, so for a cue of this age, to have no dings, dents, and only one itty-bitty finish blemish is pretty lucky.

To top it all off, the cue hits great! I'm very pleased with this purchase!

It has a completely different feel - being a full splice and all. It really makes a great noise when you hit with it. It's a very distinct hit, and different than the Mottey (or the Black), but a very GOOD hit nonetheless. It's hard to describe actually. So next time I visit Florida, I'll bring the family, and you can test 'em all out and decide for yourself ;) [Or if you ever make it to NY...]

Sweet Cue td - thanks for sharing,

Jerry is doing a couple of conversions for me as well - 2-piece Hoppe and a 1-piece butterfly. He mentioned this page as an example of his conversions.
 
Another nice conversion

Nice to see another titlest conversion. Just one question. Why wouldnt the cue maker make sure the -R- stamp on the butt was straight. Just a finiky point i guess. Great cue.
