One other thing, when Chris mentioned you'd loose the ability to move the headstock he was probably referring to the motor on this lathe. You can see why it can't be bolted on, it's a lot of motor.Thanks. Once I get it I’ll assess it and reinforce if needed. I haven’t seen anyone complaining and as you said Todd would have addressed it by now. This thread just got me thinking.
