ok, once again tonight i am struggling with the medium length draw shot as in the diagram below. so, i laid my cue down on the tablie as i addressed the ball, and just set it right where i thought it was aligned perfectly. this is represented by the line connecting Point A and Point B.
then i back off, walk around to the front of the table, and look back, and i can tell i am off. but it looked perfect to me when i was setting up for the shot. so i then tinker with the cue while it laid on the table, once again getting it to the point where i think its aligned perfectly straight. and when i check it looked slightly off the other way.
i said to myself "No Wonder I Miss These Shots" and just went about the business of getting it straight. when i got it to look straight, i sort of "Stepped Into" the shot, trying not to really move the cue, getting it where i thought it was when it was just laying on the table.
i shot, and of course, i missed.............
