I once bought one of the old original Predator Z .shafts. It was once piloted, you could tell,
but someone before me had shaved off the pilot. Interesting, I thought to myself, but I
could never tell the difference. So get a shaft you like and cut off the pilot, Easy as pie

Just about any LD shaft you can get as a partial and have a local cuemaker match it to the cue. Or have a cuemaker make you an LD shaft for the cue.

Get a partial and have it drilled and finished. OB, Predator, Jacoby, Tiger and iirc Meucci all offer partials.
