Well when Wednesday rolled around I gave all my starters the letter. And wouldn't you know it, the one time I am going to give out letters none of the subs showed! Isn't that too funny? The subs were all at the rodeo that night. So I guess they shouldn't get too bent out of shape once they get their letter. As for my starters they all told me that they were happy about the letter. They said that it couldn't have been stated better, and it was very fair to everyone. Then the starter that threw the games came up and appoligized to me and the team for letting them down. He stated he wouldn't do it again. Then he also stated he was sorry for accusing me of having favorites. The stats proved to him that he was one of my top players and I do play him like it. Then he went on to be undefeated that night! So I guess we will see next week whether the subs take it so well. But I even called the subs that night and asked if they wanted to play for the other team that night. So I think they already know what is about to happen. I am just going to stick to my guns, and hopefully we will end up with a championship and a lot of fun nights. Thanks for everyone's advice, and I will keep you all posted on the sub situation. LOL
 
Last night

Well I finally got to give the subs their letter last night. Two of my subs are going to finish out the season with the other team from the same bar. The one sub that was the captain last year asked me if I was kicking them off the team? I told her no, but when the season started they all said they would be subs. She said yea she remembered. So she might have had her feelings hurt but she knows that it is true. I think she will wind up playing for the other team the rest of the season too. She was worried they might catch us in score, and I said don't worry about that. Besides that team has forfeited like 3 weeks because of not having enough players. Besides if they are better than us they deserve to catch us in points and beat us in the play offs. Anyway, long story short I could tell they were hurt by it, and decided to play on the other team because they could play every week. The one that was the captain last season said she would start up her team again next season, and I told her that was cool. Anyway, I guess it all worked out ok, some got their feelings hurt but hey they shouldn't have said they just wanted to sub.

Oh yea and we won again last night 18-9!
