Carom Cafe is having huge events. It has private indoor parking and is close to hotels, buffets and Tennis and Golf and the Mets.

If anyone is checking out NYC for the Cannacup in Newburgh, then check out Carom Cafe before the big drive or after.

Pool is interesting because the shots are isomorphic meaning that most shot lines converge.

Carom is computationally intensive and requires parallel programming for simulating shots.

Is anyone interested in parallel programming? To keep this mostly a carom discussion, let's say carom shots can be reversed solved, but the inversion has to be be approximated for long distance positions.

My love for 14.1 is still strong, but computationally carom is worth studying. For me carom is new and exciting.

Carom aiming requires analysis for do you want to hit ball first and which rails to hit after. There are multiple contact points and multiple simulations needed to determine highest probability shot. Today's technology might be ready for carom simulators opponents.

This is the best to a DrDave type source on the internet for carom.

It appears to be written by a mathematician or grad student.

The level of instruction is like boxing or muy thai.

You get lots of practice but how to score in competition is learned through experience or attrition.

Carom Cafe is a cultural institution of 3 cushion. Would they want sports landmark status? If governments are recognizing cue sports, then which areas are best for carom. Its super easy for math able people. Much easier than nineball or snooker.
