Least likely night to play pool?

I was just curious what is the least likely night / nights you'd go to the pool hall. Also taking into account what you think is the least likely night for there to be leagues and tournaments.

Basically what night do you almost never go. It could be due to family, work, no tourney etc. anything really

mmmm good question,

I'd hafta say, it depends on what i am working, I normally dont adjust my work schedual unless its a tournament that i really want to play in.

But weds is out for me cuz of leagues.
 
there's a tourney or league night every night of the week here in town. except on holidays of course. so a pool freak can stay busy every day of the year down here.
 
For me its Monday during the winter due to Monday Night Football. I always go with friends to a bar and grill and catch the game.

Wednesday for the rest of the year. There isnt much going on on Wednesday in my area...dont know why...just a trend.

I typically play on Tuesday night, Friday night, saturday afternoon, and sunday afternoon......Dang, i spend too much time at the pool room.

It would have been more useful for him to ask when are you not playing pool.:rolleyes:
 
Actually I decided not to add that in order to make people choose one answer. With 7 possibilities you'd have to be able to narrow it down somewhat. You can't play 7 days a week every day a year. Some people have work, some have families, some have other hobbies and some people live in places where there just aren't any tourney's or money players that come in on certain days.
 
i don't usually bother with Friday or Saturday nights because that's when the bangers come in to drink, pick each other up, and fight (in pretty much that order).

same here. cant get a table. when i finally do I usually have people bumping into me, shouting, playing crappy music -i'd rather play any other day.

I think you need to narrow your group selection or state what the purpose of this information is for (why the curiousity)......Otherwise I can't believe you will get a realistic answer from this survey.

As has already been posted some will say they won't go on Friday & Saturday because of all the bangers.....Now when you really analyze that, Friday & Saturday are probably going to be the most popular nights to play pool.

For the same reason, you won't see many Friday or Saturday night leagues.
 
Can't a guy just be curious? Really, any forum poll isn't going to tell you anything other than the results are based on people who visit this forum. So I'm actually wondering, to those who visit the AZ billiards forum, what day(s) do they not play.

If you want something deeper, I was shooting the other day and someone asked if I'll be shooting the next night, I said I was busy. He said doing what? As if I had nothing else to do. Just thought I'd throw out the same question to see what kind of answers were out there.

In that case....Saturday.....
 
I usually play in the early afternoon and am out of there by 8:00 pm unless it is a tourney night,I got good action or I am waiting for my friend to come in after she has to work late:) I hate being in there when all the bangers and idiots are all over the place:eek:
