Simple question, I was wondering, given normal use and normal wear and tear, dirtyness etc. Which wrap will last longest while retaining nice appearance?

Leather:cool:

It depends on the person and the extent of sweaty hands, I see a lot of older cues from people who don't sweat that much and the linen wrap[s still feel fine.

what about your heavy sweater? does leather hold up to a lot of sweat? While i'm on this topic, which one do you think holds less smoke odor?

Since Stack Leather Wraps can be re-finished 3 or so times, where standard leathers can not, it holds up to heavy sweat the best.

Great question regarding smoke odor! Honestly, I think that standard leather wraps (which are usually slightly sealed on the pattern side) or nylon wraps will repel odor the most.

Linen will get real stinky!

If that smoke odor is of great concern, no wrap.

Do I need to periodically treat my lizard wrap with anything?

Thanks,

A little mink oil on a paper towel does the trick, Wax on, wax off.
You know the drill.
