Shouldn't, provided that the local cue maker does a good job, which with tascarella shouldn't be a problem, imo.

best in the biz

Ginacue does the best leather wraps in the business...but if you don't have the time then i heard kenny koo does good wraps as well

Good Afternoon, I think once the leather wrap is on you cannot go back to linen. they have to cut the wood handle down a little to make room for the leather. But check just in case.

If you are looking at going to leather for the texture, I might suggest just getting it rewrapped with linen, but having it left a little more rough. I did that on my Schon, and it is great. I have had nothing but compliments on the feel of the wrap from other shooters. I have both leather and linen, but I generally prefer a coarse linen.

good point curt thanks .I'm used to leather . and i think it will look better. but i'm worried about value after i have it done with different cue maker.

Paul Fanelli...

Try calling Paul Fanelli, he's in Clifton, NJ. Does some of the best leather wraps, period. Fast turn around time too. Might even do it when you're there, if it's possible.

Not correct. They wont have to take the handle down. They may have to thin the piece of leather a bit though...The only drawback is that Tim and Mike will never work on the cue again if something goes wrong with it.
