Leather wrap question

Hello,

I have a pretty high end Hunter that has a ring tail lizard wrap on it. The problem is that the white on the wrap is yellowing. Is there anyway to clean this? I have tried alcohol and acetone on a very small spot to no avail. I can rewrap it, but don't really want to. Any help would be great!!

Thanks
Bruce

Go to your local western shop, cobbler or a shoe store and check to see if they carry Feibings leather care products.
They make one for reptile cleaner and conditioner.
It works well on Python boots so I don't see where it wouldn't work on a
lizard wrap. It actually softens the scales and makes them lie down flat again.

I'd be very careful with the Acetone bud. The only thing I use acetone in the shop for is when I glue my clumsy fingers together with CA glue.

Thanks!! I didn't actually use the acetone on this wrap. I used it on a scrap to see what it would do.

Ah, I didn't actually think you would, being a repair man. If it can melt CA, you know it will melt contact cement.
