Leather Wrap Question

The leather (I believe) wrap on my McDermott EK-1 is coming loose at the seam. What type of adhesive do you folks suggest for me to re-seal this wrap?

The cue plays very well and I am anxious to get ti back in play.

Elmer's or contact cement on both handle and leather.

If it is just a small part of the seam coming up I would use Elmer's glue.....but if you can get a decent amount of glue under I use contact cement
