Can leather wrap be swapped out for linen wrap or is the bed cut deeper for the thickness of leather?

There are some nice cues out there but my only turn off on buying them is they have leather instead of linen wrap.

thanks for any answers

Some would view it as a downgrade going from leather to linen but that's not what you asked.
Leather wraps can vary in thickness and without taking it off, you have no idea of it's thickness.
Doesn't really matter though as the wrap-groove can be adjusted to whatever is required.

yea
leather is more on the upper end but for me its just something that i have never grown to like
always have preferred linen

there are some really nice cues out there and really looking to pick one up if i can swap it out to linen as long as it sits flush and smooth like it should be

I was of the same opinion at one point but tried to stick with leather and found that after getting used to the feel I liked it much better than linen.

Maybe give it a few months and see what happens.

my choices- anything can be done

First the old school green and white linen looks good to me. second I've had wraps by phillippi ( boreskin) and motey, brown leather and they are super. I also like unwrapped cues a lot.
