Leather Wrap

I am wondering if it is possible to add a leather wrap to a sneaky. I recently purchased a wonderful sneaky that I love the hit and feel of but my hands tend to get a little sweaty. If this is possible who would you recommend to do this type of work other than the original cue maker.

Thanks,
Nate

Sure it is possible. You just need to undercut a wrap channel and then install the wrap. Check with the maker of the cue and see if he'll do the work, if not, I am always available.

Nate,
You realize the leather wrap WILL change the feel of the cue ... dont you?
Perhaps a bowlers towel clipped to you belt would be a better option.

Almost any competent cue maker or repair person can do this for you.
Do you have anyone near you?
Price will vary ... 100 to 200 depending on the person you ask.

I would let Rat do the work,he does exceptional work.
And if you want to dress up that sneaky pete you can get one of my "Cue Tattoo" leather wraps.

These are burned into the leather by hand. Here's a couple of samples of cues I've done.
The sneaky pete pictured is actually a Dufferin with a "Cue Tattoo" on it.
I have a few different designs in stock and can email them to you to see if there's one you like.

From one NC'er to another, I highly recommend letting Ryan aka Rat cues do the work. If I needed a leather wrap thats where I'd send mine. Highest possible work quality & fast turnaound & great pricing. The best of everything...you really could do no better.
On a side note...how is Zoo City? I hear they have a weekly tourney. Please pm me the details if you know...thanks!

I don't think a leather wrap would be the answer to sweaty palms. Purell and a towel do wonders to keep your hands dry. Take it from me, I sweat like a whore in church when I play, I feel a linen wrap works best for sweaty hands, I don't think a leather wrap would have any benefits whatsoever over a wood handle. Just my opinion of course.
