I want to get my custom DALE PERRY wrapped with leather.

Which is a better choice and explain why you think so....

1. Regular Leather Wrap
2. Stack Leather Wrap
3. Lizard Skin Leather Wrap

Also if you could please recommend some good leather wrappers to do the job.

Thanks,

OK Blud, Help me out here...could use your expert advise !!!:)

Hey Blud could you explain the difference between
1. Regular Leather Wrap
2. Stack Leather Wrap
3. Lizard Skin Leather Wrap

I bet Blud could do ti if he has time to do repair work.
I know that Joe Ezel does a very god job with leather wraps. He made my cues and did a great job see link for info oon my cue sory no pics I can send them though

jjollie,

I use pig skin medium density leather. It's very constant in thichness. [Very important].This works well and is smooth and not scalley as some are. You can feel the wrap and it won't allow your hand to slip, by mistake.

I do not like stacked leather wraps. I refuse to put a stacked leather wrap on my cues.

For cleaning a leather wrap, some use armour-all.. Use it sparingly. I just whipe mine down with a soft lightly moisted cloth [water].
Works for me.
rock-roll

NO, saddle soap is just what it says, [SADDLE SOAP]. It will make the leather become to soft.

Hey Blud,

Do you have time to do this....if so you can email me at jjollie@cox.net or I can call you. If not, whom would you recommand to do the best job. Everyone can't do good on leather wraps.

Thanks

Again, I do not like the bumps and or scales. However, what ever works for you, sir..

Ya' know what they call Ostrich: full pimp... Dude, do you have a note from your mother? I mean...

I had a custom cue made for me by Dave Jacoby and it has a leather wrap. Everyone loves my leather wrap. It's black with a little texture in it. The thing that's amazing is that you can't see the seam. I can find it if I really work at it but it is really tough to find. Dave did a phenominal job on this cue.

What about Ostrich skin, that bumpy texture would definitely stop slippage.
Yipes! They're ugly.:D
Smooth textured pigskin by Tiger products are great.
Now, if you can afford Ernie Gutierrez's elephant ear wrap, go for it.:)

Hey, it was just a thought...:( I know one Kat that has a leather wrap, he sanded it down for grip. For me its linen or nothing, literally, I like my sticks naked. :p
