Just came back from Ocean State Job lot with 4 of these LED shop lights from Maxlite for $19.99 each
They seem more ridged and better made than the fluorescent ones in the shop now.
For $20 each...worth a shot....
Tried one and am very impressed with the amount of light from them. It looks like 2 T8 style lamps in a 48" long fixture.
Just thought I'd share if anyone maybe thinking on changing from the fluorescent shoplights and cut their energy bill down.

Led has come a long way in the last year.
I have recently had a 2 tube Led installed over my work area at work. I like it much better than the fluro lights that it used to have. I have some at home as well.
Mine were no where near as cheap as yours though.
 
I have been buying the 4' phillips t8 tubes from Home Depot for $10 each. They are pretty good too. I put them in my Diamond table light.They do keep the ballast intact so probably not as efficient but you can buy the dual 4" fixture for $12 and to have a whole assembly for $32 is not bad
 
can you buy 8 foot length led bulbs to replace a flouricent?

If so will the standard ballast in my light fixture work?

I just got done installing the 4 fixtures, they are 4 ft long with 2 tubes, T8 style. WOW has the brightness changed.... The style is 'daylight' and man is it bright. Below is a pic and the red circled lamp is the new one. Alos, the amperage draw has dropped from 2.10 Amps to 1.45 amps so should have a good effect on the electric bill.
I am glad I went with a complete fixture instead of the retrofit types.
