Led table light?

Looking to purchase one and not really sure what to buy. Any thing I should look for in particular? Anything I should stay away from?

The question I have is - are these type of LED lights repairable? Or are they made of replaceable modules? LEDs don't last forever and most lights I've encountered were in strips or light bars made of several LED's wired in parallel. Over time one or more in the strip would fail. Eventually the light bar had to be replaced.

Mine are not lights in a strip

It's a surface emitting light ,like a sheet of light

Mine come with 5 yr warranty and are diffused

And no light lasts forever

This is the most affordable one that I've seen recommended here in the past. I ordered it with the suspension kit and it's sitting in my living room right now. I can't speak to its quality as my pool room is still coming together so right now it sits in its box. I'm interested to see if glare is an issue and if I might need to somehow better diffuse the light but the price was right, the specs seem up to the task and I'm happy that it's dimmable.

There are a handful of threads on this with a fair number of recommendations. I researched each and decided on this one mostly based on price. In a few weeks I'll be able to better speak on it.

Bought the same light, works great! I thought I might need a diffuser, but I found it is not necessary. I hung the light 55 inches above the playing surface and seems perfect. Also added a plug in remote ( Amazon, $13) as my table is in the garage and could not access a switch.
Forgot to mention my table is a 9 footer.

We have a man here in Tulsa that makes LED lights, his lights are good & they are still around after several years.

The MaryJane folks in Colorado buy a lot of lights from him. He now has a Pool Room, with his lights over the tables. It's easy to see what you'd get, if you bought one of his lights..

How about 2 lights for a 9 foot table. Would that be to much?

Way to much

I mean one is enough for my 10fter

I'd suggest a color temperature around 3000 K... many of these produce light that is very cool > up around 5000K. Way to blue, in my opinion.
All this has more meaning if your cloth is blue.
Additionally, the size of the light source is in direct relationship to the harshness of the shadows. The bigger the light source the softer the shadow and more even light you'll have.
LEDs offer lower electricity consumption, don't generate as much heat and are easier to place... but after all is said and done... you still have to think of it as just a light source.

You could also buy direct screw in LED light "bulbs" into your convetional light source (the well known 3 lamps). Take 11-13W per bulb, and not above 3000K light temperature.

Easily repairable, no real invest to be done, still works great.
