Hello All!
I'm sure like any other billiard equipment related question this has been discussed and explained many times but it's a first for me!
Here's my thinking......be it correct or not..:D
It seems to me that an 800-1000 lb. pool table setting on 4 bolts, centered on the bottom of 4 legs, regardless of the type of leg, just doesn't seem like a good idea (to put it in simple terms). I know this method has been around a long time, and the better quality assembled tables have stood the test of time, but regardless I'd love to hear some experts (or anyone) expound on this a little.
Thanks to all.......:thumbup!
P.S.* Pic of mine attached (table disassembled)

Those levelers are only rated for somewhere between 50-150 pounds..

However, in most cases, they should work fine. The table will need to be lifted, prior to adjustment, to avoid damaging the threads. Unfortunately, lifting the table at one end will apply a side-load to the levelers at the other end, which could cause them to stress/bend.

What would be your suggestion? Should I put in a higher rated leveler, not use levelers at all or use these when I set the table up and not worry about it?
Thanks

I would suggest that you just go ahead with these. They will likely serve their purpose just fine. Though, as I mentioned, you will want to take the weight off of them, before you attempt to adjust them. If you try to adjust them, fully loaded, you may likely damage the threads. I don't think I'd worry about it, until that happens. At which point, you can replace them with something heavier.

Yes and also keep as much threads as possible up in the leg. Those are way too small for that much size and weight.

Thanks for the info and advice.......
