So I was on Grady Mathew's website and saw that the Legends of One Pocket is going to be on DEC 5,6,& 7. I'm kindav thinking about making the drive up there to watch. Has anybody ever been to this? What kind of players are showing up? Any chance that Cliff Joyner, Efren, Gabe Owen, Shannon Dalton will showing up to play in this or is it just a smaller South Carolina thing? Cause i don't want to drive 800 miles just to watch Grady Mathews wipe the floor with everyone. :D
 
Legends of Bank pool was in September , Legends of One Pocket is in December. If Efren is going to be there I don't know but I'm going to go if some pro's show up.
 
Legends?

Seems odd to call a tournament "Legends of (whatever)" with only $1000 added.

Just my opinion.

Some of the guys from Hollywood will probably be going.
 
the best source is the horse itself - call Grady's and find out what they anticipate. if any top names are to be there, i am sure he would know well in advance to accomodate.
 
Well Grady tell's me thru email that Cliff Joyner and Shannon Dalton are going to be there. Hell I think I might just go up there. Should be interesting.

Grady's past Legends of One Pocket are the things legends are created from. Shannon Daulton once played in one of Grady's one pocket tournaments and lost his first match and went on to beat SEVERAL top players in a row to win the tournament. All of the big guns were at that one in Baton Rouge in or around 1996 I think.....

I wish efren was going to be there but I guess he only comes out for the really big things like the US Open and the DCC

It's $1,250 added. Our last two events only drew 8 players each but we still added the advertised monies. I plan great things next year. For right now it's a struggle. We had an awful summer season.
Look for a big announcement from me around the first of the year.
