Alex is a great person, nice to talk with. Show some respect to the guy, he deserve it.

I spent some time talking to his wife while I was in Vegas. She's a cool lady, and very pretty.

What I've heard of him in the finals he did pretty good.
John Schmidt is a real natural and is also a pleasure to listen to.
It really shows that both guys are true professionals and know their stuff, and are eager to share their knowledge.
Alex' english is not that good, but he gets better over time I'm sure.

From a players perspective I enjoy commentary done by experts of the game (a Grady, Billy, Freddy or John) more than the commentators of, for example, the world 9-ball championships or the CoC.
I can only praise the iniative of more and more pro's taking on commentary and spreading the knowledge of pool we all love so much.

I actually think he is very good at commentating. He thinks on his feet as well. He's got a good sense of humor and looks comfortable doing the interviews.

MOVIES, what movies? Was he Vinnie in THE COLOR OF MONEY?
