Didn't think I'd be letting this one go but I found something else that I'm going to make my player for a while and this should be in someone's hands.
Like the title says, full splice Bocote butt into a solid PH forearm. It's about 4 years old I think and I'm pretty sure this would be about $500 from Mr. Sly new. It's been my player for the last year or so and truthfully it's one of my top four cues I've ever owned for having the kind of hit I like.
The butt is right around 15 oz and the shaft (clean & not dinged up) about 3.9 with a 12.9 MM tip and LBM ferrule. Joint is phenolic, as is the butt cap and it has a 3/8 x 10 pin. By my standards the cue rolls straight on my table both together and apart, no wobbles. In the light in my pictures you can really see the separation of the two types of wood, in person they kind of almost blend together for a really nice look. You can see there are two small bubbles in the finish, not chipped, and there's a short scrape in the butt cap that doesn't show up much on the white. Some other normal signs of having been played. It's a nicely balanced cue that IMO has a great hit.
I'll do SOLD shipped and PayPal in the lower 48.
