Recently aquired a Leon Sly cue through a trade and I am very impressed with the workmanship/finish. The cue plays great, perhaps because it is a full splice sneaky. The person that traded it to me thought that it played very similar to Scruggs cues and I would have to concur. All in all, a nice cue and a heads up to a new cuemaker on the scene.\\

Doug

Actually,Leon Sly is not a new cuemaker. He,in fact, has been doing it professionally for about 8yrs,but do to the popular LOCAL demand in his area,he hasnt gotten the recognition he deserves. His shop is constantly swamped withe local orders.I also have 4 Sly cues myuself, and my brother has about 6 to his collection. They are without a doubt,THE BEST PLAYING CUES I OWN!!!My sister and brother in law play in the APA league, shes a 6,hes a 7,and they have a his and her pair of slys. They have also retired theyre playing cues of 5yrs for the sly!I have a full splice s/p,1 plain jane s/p, and a high end cue of leons like my brothers. As KillerBee69 said,WAY TO GO LEON! KEEP IT UP!

I just got my hands on a Leon Sly full splice sneaky, Cocobola handle, black collor, Hoppe ring, And it hits a ton. I would recomend his cues for a regular player so far solid hit, pretty stiff shaft. No complaints. Ill post pics as soon as I figure out how to do this.
