I am thinning the herd a little to make room for some projects and I decided to part with my Blud. I like this cue but it's just not my style. The cue is a Original Blud built about 10 years ago according the mister Leonard. For the age the cue is in fantastic condition . The cue originally came with 2 shafts but when I purchased it the cue only had one. The previous owner must of lost/damage a shaft.
The cue rolls straight together and apart and the wrap is in good condition. I would say the finish on the cue is about 95% condition with minimal signs of ware and tear. No major dings, scratches of any kind. When inspecting the cue closely there is a 2 mm wide ding (minuscule) just above the wrap area. On the bumper there are 2 , 1mm scratches probably from being bumped on the floor over time. Again this is a cue that has been plaid with for 10 some years and it's still in fantastic shape.
I believe it speaks volumes about the quality of materials used in this cue given the aspect after so long of time.
The previous owners must have taken very good care of this cue and I did the same.
Cue specks:
Tulip wood with 6 CNC cut Gabon Ebony floating points.
All the round ovals are Ivory and they are all intact.
Wrap is black with white speckle.
Pin- bludworth custom pin. This pin looks like a 3/8x10 but it's not. It's a pin only used in blud cues from my understanding so you would have to contact him directly about spare shafts.
Weight- shaft at 3.5 oz Butt at 14.7 oz
Total weight- 18.2 oz adjustable (there is a weight bolt in this cue)
Ferulle is ivorine
Joint size is .841"
Length is 58" split even.
Fresh Kamui medium tip ( black)
I contacted MR Leonard to ask him more about this cue since the previous owner I got it from did not tell me much . This was his email back.
